Description, Abstract, or Artist's Statement
This poem is about an instance of sexual assault that occurred at my previous university. The aim of this poem was to express how sexual harassment is often overlooked until something drastic and devastating happens, as well as highlight that the legal process following the event can be unjust and cause more unnecessary pain for the victim.
