Clinton was the first city to partner with the Upper Mississippi Center for their Sustainable Working Landscapes Initiative. Through SWLI, Clinton and the UMC were able to involve a number of classes from a variety of disciplines to tackle the areas of interest regarding sustainability highlighted by the city.
